Three and half years ago I learned that my mother (Jennie DiStefano Pisano) who was adopted, had a family in Long Island that she never knew existed. Through DNA, I had the privilege of meeting her two brothers (Vito and Anthony) and her sister (Josephine) and several cousins.
Today, I am saddened at the passing of my dear Uncle Vito. I am grateful for having the opportunity to have met him and for the many conversations we shared. Such a wonderful loving man, who shared compassion, love and regret and we had hoped to spend time together. I will miss him. Rest in Peace

To Vito and Diane, we are so sorry for the loss of Dad. He was like a second Dad to me and to others especially in our neighborhood. Always when offering advice to us had in a very calming way to give guideance in how to do the right thing. He loved talking about baseball and especially the Yankees!! Some of the fondest memories were on the trips to work in the morning on the 6:17am LIRR train ride. Always sitting in the same seats were your Dad his brother your Uncle Anthony, Al, and my Dad. They always had very heathly and entertaining discussions in the mornings. Besides being the best friend to our father your DAD was very well known and respected by many in the Plumbers Union Local#1 in NYC. He was a GREAT UNION man and a PROUD ARMY VETERAN and a true GEM. May he now rest in peace and GOD BLESS your entire family. He will truely be missed and will never be forgotten!! Our deepest of condolences from Phil & Anthony as well as the entire Napolitano Family.

Vito was such a kind man who was so nice and welcoming to me when I moved next door to him
over 10 years ago. He loved giving my 2 year old son a lolli-pop when we would chat outside. My son loved to wave to Vito when he saw him outside. He will be missed.
Our prayers and condolences to his family.
