Obituary of Scott Cameron MacLeod

Loyal husband, father, brother, colleague, teammate, and friend. Always there to offer a hand, a laugh, deep thought, and sound advice.

Lover of his family and pets, his work family, his softball family, baseball, the Mets/Jets/Islanders, tennis, skiing, music, concerts, roller coasters, scotch, and his lawn.

Husband to Margaret of 38 years and father of Jessica and Sean. Son of Helen and Martin DeRiso and Malcolm MacLeod. Brother to Joan Derrick, Martha Russo, and Martin DeRiso.

Recently retired Principal Chemist, Manager, and inaugural member of the Primary Designated Engineers at UL, where he worked for 37 years. UL Corporate Fellow and leader in standard development committees worldwide.

Scott exemplified integrity. He moved everyone who had the joy of meeting him, and he leaves a huge hole in our hearts.
