Obituary of Kenneth John Stimpfl

Stimpfl, Kenneth J. "Kenny", 74, of North Babylon and East Islip, passed away on November 19, 2021. Beloved husband of Eileen. Loving father of Brian (Wendy), Deborah and Michelle (Tim). Cherished grandfather of Trevor, Lauren, Lindsay, Gavin, Joshua and Ryan. Predeceased by his brother John Jr. and parents John Sr. and Catherine. Kenneth cherished his family and also his pets, especially Maggie and Chelsea. He served his country proudly from 1966 to 1968 in the Vietnam War, as a Sergeant in the U.S. Army with the 3rd Marine Division, and cared deeply for his brothers in arms from Vietnam and his fellow veterans in general. Visitation Monday, November 22 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. A funeral mass honoring the life of Kenneth will be held on Tuesday, November 23 at St. Patrick's Church in Huntington. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Disabled American Veterans or Wounded Warrior Project would be greatly appreciated by the family.
