Obituary of Christopher James Hogan

Christopher James Hogan, 41, passed away peacefully in his sleep August 8, 2021. Chris lived in Cold Spring Harbor most of his life. As a child, he loved baseball and continued to play through High School. He was also a life-long skier and snowboarder. Most of all, he loved fishing, having grown up on the boats of his grandfather and father. He received a degree in Business Administration from Salisbury University, and thereafter, worked at multiple firms selling construction equipment and products. He was loved and admired by the many friends he made throughout his life and will be dearly missed. Christopher is survived by his parents James and Cynthia Hogan (Paterno) of CSH, his brother Michael of Huntington Bay, his sister Marissa of Northport as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Calling hours will be at M.A. Connell Funeral Home Sunday August 15, 2021 between 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Church in Huntington on Monday, August 16 at 9:45 AM. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Uplands Farm Sanctuary or the Fish Hatchery. Checks to The Nature Conservancy should include Uplands Farm in the memo.
