Obituary of Virginia Marie Slowik

Please share a memory of Virginia to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Daughter, Sister, Wife, Aunt, Daughter-in-law, Friend, Employee and lover of her fur babies and yours! Really none of these are really enough to describe her life or impact on all of the people she touched. The closest would be her love of, loyalty and kindness to all of those she touched, whether 2 or 4 legged. She always made herself second to everyone else and their needs. She is gone now and has been missed from the moment the news broke. Actually, she was missed for much longer than that. The gift she gave me was permission to with her the day and night of her surgery last year. The Burden she gave me was that she wanted it to be private and no one was to know how sick she was. She was angry with me at the Airedale luncheon as she found out I told the members before she came in. She forgave me quickly as was her way. She truly felt everyone was happy to see her and she was indeed happy to be able to be there. What no one knew was the downward spiral started soon after that. I wish she would have let you all know then she would have felt all the love you have expressed since her passing. She always knew Stephen, Saxon and Basil loved her. That carried her through her battles as best it could. They also knew how much she loved them which will hopefully get Stephen and Basil through this loss. She was also the unwavering baby sister to Chuck and Barbara. She loved them and was so proud of them. She knew they were there for her. This is supposed to be an obituary. I don’t know if it serves that purpose, but I hope it tells you about my friend Virginia.
