Mary was a wonderful neighbor to us on Andrew Road. Our children loved her, and she was a great companion on a Sunday morning for a nice walk in the beautiful snow to an early Mass service. She raised a bunch of wonderful children all by herself after her husband passed early. When people talk about salt of the earth, I think of Mary. We miss living near her

Matter of fact, loving, funny, kind, and a whole lot of Fun!
Those are just a few words to describe Mary Cosgrove.
We had the privilege of knowing Mary for well over 30 years.
We have so many fond memories of our times with Mary in Mobile and New York, they are too numerous to list.
She was truly one of a kind, and Mary will be greatly missed by her family and all of us who were lucky enough to have known her.
But, she will live on in our hearts through the memories of the fun times we shared with her, Sue, Mark, Stephen, Joseph and the whole Cosgrove family.
Cheers to you Mary!
Hope you are having a Grand time in Heaven!
Love and deepest sympathy to all the Cosgroves,
Sue and David Mooney

Jealousy starts with Mary not being my mom! coolest and put you in your place mom! The sneaking beer Into the venue mom! Going with Sue and I every year shopping for Mardi Gras throws mom. Recycling all the caught beads for us to throw mom! Doing all the grunt shopping at the grocery and stealing the plastic bags mom! Going to the Red Square party on Friday before Joe Cain and being the one everybody wants to know mom! Best super bowl ever joe Cain same day the giants in it to win it and Mary was still drinking beer then
Watching her yelling at the tv and being enthralled at her fandom! When she no longer came south for the winter a part of the celebration ended. I feel so fortunate Joseph got married and I got to see that cool broad one more time. Mary will forever be with me and every Joe Cain we will have a 12 pack in her honor cause that’s what Mary would do! Our heart goes out to you all . So many memories over 30 something years just loved her !!!

What a great lady. She is the last of her generation (THE GREATEST GENERATION) and she and all the others will be sorely missed. We will miss her stories and sassy personality. its up to us to remember her and keep her always in our hearts. May all the family remember her as she was and bless the fact that she was there to foster a HUGE family of kids, grand
kids and great grand kids. Her legacy will continue for many more generations to come.

Mary V. was the BEST friend and Mom ever. The times we spent together in Mobile were always loving and super duper fun. Mardi Gras was her's and my favorite times. Mark, Stephen, Joseph looked forward to her living with us through the winters and will miss her so. Thank goodness for photos!
