Obituary of Charles O'Brien

Charles O’Brien passed away on October 27th after a brave battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Charles was born in Brooklyn, NY and was a longtime resident of Huntington, NY.  He is survived by his loving wife of 59 years, Catherine, his adoring children Jeannine, Karen (Bill) and Scott. He is predeceased by his beloved son Keith (Chip).  He leaves behind his brother, Ronald, dear friends and extended family.  Charles traveled the world as an executive at Borden Int’l.  He loved the NY Rangers and Yankees, reading multiple newspapers a day, winters in Hawaii and walking at Sunken Meadow State Park but most of all he loved spending time with his family.  The family extends much gratitude to his kind and devoted caregivers.  Donations in Charles name are invited for Hospice Care Network. www.hospicecarenetwork.org
