Catherine and family When I heard about Charles passing a little piece of my heart broke . I felt like my kids have lost a second grandpa . We got to know Charles in Molokai when we came to visit my mom and dad . Right away you both took to my kids and loved that they laughed and had Fun and made noise in the pool . My first memory of Charles was of him getting in the pool and pretending he was a shark . From that day forward he WAS THE SHARK to my kids . You both played games with them and Shared in the joys and sorrows with my family . My children still ask about THE Shark and share wonderful childhood memories that you gave them .What a wonderful gift that speaks to a warmth and kindness and funniness that was Charles .
