I would like to extend my condolences to the entire Nidds family on the loss of their dear husband, father, grandfather and friend. I remember Mr. Nidds as being a kind, gentle man with an infectious smile and laugh. I'm glad I had to opportunity to spend a little time with him and Mrs. Nidds when I drove them to the airport several times. I enjoyed spending the time with them and catching up on their wonderful family. Prayers and thoughts are with you all.

“A Man”
I remember a man who was gentle, though he ran the entire ship,
treating each of us young sailors as though we were mini-captains of said ship.
Respecting each of us as he passed up and down the hallways.
Dr. Nidds, may God bless you, and give you a special place on His heavenly ship for you to rejoice ALWAYS!

I am so very sorry to hear of the passing of Mr. Nidds. He was a dear friend to my parents and entire family. Jack had the ability to connect with people of all ages. He found the best in everyone. As a young girl I would play with Kerry, Sally and Maggie at our family BBQs, beach parties, church gatherings. Jack noticed I liked to do cartwheels and whenever I saw him he asked me to do one for him. Jack and Ellie would always get a laugh out of it.
Later in years while my parents were ill The Nidds and Murrays, Murphy's, Romanelli's and numerous other St . Patrick friends were there through thick and thin for the Leonard's.
My deepest condolence to Ellie, Kerri, Sally, Maggie and John
Here is to one more cartwheel for Jack.

We remember Jack as a quiet, kind gentleman with a twinkle in his eyes. He loved to tell a story either written or one of his own. Most of all he loved to listen to everyone around him, taking in the chatter among his children and grandchildren.
He always had a book nearby, whether it was some sort of historical piece or a storybook for one of the children.
We can’t think of anyone who didn’t love Jack. He was a man of intellect, faith and love of his family and people in general. He will be dearly missed!
