Loving Stepmother of Chris (Laurie), Donna (Don) Dawson, Robert (Amanda), Mimi (Chip) Ewald and Elizabeth (Mike) McCartney. Cherished Nana of Sara, Emma, Carly, Claire, Anabel, Christopher, Trey, Trevor, Ian, Kylie, Amelia and Tristan. Dear daughter of the late John and Vera Scoppa. Visitation M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station, Monday 7-9 PM and Tuesday 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Mass Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Centerport, Wednesday 9:30 AM. Interment at The Cemetery of Grace Episcopal Church, Massapequa. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to: Ronald McDonald House or Our Lady Queen of Martyr’s Church in Joanne’s name.
