I just learned of John's passing and I extend my heartfelt condolences to Rosemarie and famlly. I worked with John in the paper industry and soclalzed with him on occasion. He was a man of great warmth and splendid humor.

John was a dear friend. We first met in 1958 at International Paper co.- and worked together. He had a a great way with people- and knew how to handle customers. His knowledge of our business was superb. We had a lot of fun together. Our relationship for all these years has been a part or our lives. He has a lovely Family. Rosemarie (Ro) is a dear ! How I will miss John and his "Happy Voice" talking about old times and our families> My Best condolences to all Hank Otto

John and I first met in 1981 and did business for many years thereafter. He was a client who quickly became a friend and mentor with his always upbeat approach to everything. He had a gift for making people laugh. I know that he loved and cherished his family and so enjoyed his work. I will never forget our meetings at Rossini's, one of his favorite lunch places and the outings we participated in together. If I know John he is already laughing it up with old friends who have gone before him. I will miss him a lot. My sincerest heartfelt condolences to you Rosemarie, the kids and the whole extended family.

My condolences to you and your family Rosemary. There are so many things I could say about John. He made Bruce and I laugh more than anyone I know. Our friendship goes way back to International Paper about 50 years ago! Dinners at your house with John telling us stories about things the kids did and said. Bruce thought so much of John and after retirement, I don't think there was a Christmas that went by without a call from John. God Bless you and your family. Dear Rosemary, John II, Michael, and Christean:: John Michael O'Rourke was a perfect example of a loving Husband to you Rosemary and loving father to John, Michael and Christean. I will miss my frequent calls to John from all over the world when I was a courier. As tired as I was from flying to far away places I always enjoyed asking him to guess where I was. I even called him once from The DMZ in Korea.He taught me more about The Paper Business than anyone else I worked for in that Industry. and in fact he was the best person I ever worked for. I will miss his laugh and frequent visits over the phpne. John will not be forgotten. God Bless john and the rest of his family. Mike Green 007

Mary and family, I am sorry to know of John's passing. I knew he fought the good fight for so many years. Although I would have attended the ceremony I unfortunately am moving from of my home of 18 years on the 7th and cannot make it there.
