Ellen Mary Hanley Moran, 70, of Huntington Station and Coram NY, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2025, surrounded by loving family.

Ellen was born August 9, 1954 in Queens, NY, the daughter of Francis Xavier Hanley and Eleanore Karl Hanley.Ellen married William Moran on June 27, 1986. Remaining to cherish Ellen’s memory are her son Matthew Moran, sisters Susan Rasch, Maureen Lutz (Edward), Barbara Brennan, and Clare Eaton (Joseph) and many loving nieces and nephews and their families.

Preceding Ellen in death were her husband, William Moran, her parents, Frank and Eleanore Hanley, her brother-in-laws, Frank Brennan and John Rasch, and her niece Amy Rasch.

Visitation will be held Thursday 4-8 PM, at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass will be held, Friday, 12 PM Noon, at Our Lady Quees of Martyrs Church, Centerport. Interment will be private.  

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ellen’s memory may be directed to Alzheimer's Foundation of America.
