Three decades ago, Angela welcomed this long-haired young man into her life, home, and family with love, grace, and humor. She and Charlie helped her daughter and I start building our lives together. As time passed, and our family grew, we continued to include them in our daily lives, trials, tribulations, and vacations. As more time passed, and our extended family grew smaller, we welcomed Angela into our home. It was our great honor, and no small struggle, to provide shelter and comfort to her in the last years of her life. At times it felt it would continue forever, at times it felt it would never end, and now it feels like it all passed in an instant. Angela had a great, full life, taking care of everyone around her. She will be deeply missed, as she was deeply loved, but her job is done now, all her tasks accomplished and responsibilities sorted. Rest easy, Nana.
