It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Pierre Delva, 38, of Huntington Station, New York, who was tragically struck by a car on October 15, 2024.
Born on February 3, 1986, in Léogâne, Haiti, Pierre was the beloved son of Charlemagne and Marie and a loving brother to Edson, Jean and Edna. He was a proud uncle to Destiney, Valencia, Gianna, Elijah, Naya, Jordan, Olivia and Ezekiel and a cherished member of his family.
Pierre attended Huntington High School, where he excelled in sports, particularly in football, wrestling and lacrosse. His dedication and talent earned him numerous championships and a full scholarship to play football at LIU Post, highlighting his passion for athletics.
Known for his beautiful soul and a heart of gold, Pierre brought joy and laughter to everyone around him. Friends and family will forever cherish his kindness, love and caring spirit, which will be deeply missed.
A memorial service to celebrate Pierre’s life will be held on Friday November 1st at M.A. Connell Funeral home of Huntington from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM. His final remembrance ceremony on Saturday November 2nd at St. Francis of Assisi Church in Greenlawn, 9:30 AM.
