Obituary of Henry William Tohl

Henry William Tohl, "Hank," of Huntington, was 79 when he passed, on October 7th, 2024. Hank was born in Flushing, on December 27th, 1944. He married the love of his life, Carol Ann Bial, in 1969 and they resided in Huntington for the past 50 years. Hank was adored by his children, Karen, Kevin and Cyndi, his five gandchildren, Brooke, Tyler, Cooper, Emily and Billy; and his two sons-in-law Billy and Justin.
Henry attended Hofstra University, and was in the UGA fraternity where he developed lifelong friendships with his "Brothers." He served as an army officer in Ft. Hamilton. He was a Delicatessen Entrepeneur, and owned the Plandome Deli in Manhasset for 30 years. Hank Loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed golfing and relaxing on the beach. He was passionate for gardening, and proud of his flowers and veggies which he loved sharing. Hank's generous heart and witty sense of humor will be remembered by everyone.
Visitation will be held October 14th, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM, at M.A. Connell Funeral Home. The funeral will be held, October 15th, at 11:00 AM, at Maple Grove Cemetery.
