Obituary of Camilla Marie McGaul

Camila Marie McGaul was born on August 3,1925, and was raised and lived in Huntington for her entire life until moving to the Carillon Residence in Huntington in 2015. She passed peacefully with her family at her side on August 15, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph Guagliardi and Rose Fusaro Guagiardi; her sisters, Angela Bagatta and Julia Alfonio; and her husband, William J. ;McGaul, Sr. She is survived by her daughters, Rosemary DelGiudice (Jim) and Melissa Haggerty (Joe); her son, William J. Jr.; her granddaughters, Brooke Hanlon (Conor) and Paige Haggerty; and several nieces and nephews. As a devout and practicing Catholic, she was a role model as a wife, a mother and a grandmother. She lit up the room with her charm and her vivacity and was a ray of sunshine to all she met. The blessing was ours for having her in our lives. She will be missed each and every day. Arrangements will be handled by M.A. Connell. Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington on August 20, 2024.
