Obituary of Mary Ellen McCarthy

McCarthy, Mary Ellen, 82, of Hauppauge, passed away  peacefully on May, 15 2024. She is a much loved former Teacher for the South Huntington School District. Beloved daughter of the late John and Mary. Loving sister of the late Jack. She is survived by her sister-in-law Diane, nephews Timothy and Jack and 7 great-nieces and nephews. She is loved and will be missed by her family and many friends. Visitation at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. Mass will be Saturday at St. Patrick’s Church in Huntington at 9:15 AM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the Alzheimer’s Foundation in her memory.
