Lou’s family and mine were neighbors back in the 80’s and 90’s. Lou was just a great all around guy always willing to help out. My sincerest condolences to Linda and the family.

I had the privilege of being at Lou's wake last evening with Linda, her family and friends. We reminisced about our early days at Seagram and the great fun that those 20 something Metro NY Managers and their spouses had together. It was a brief but lovely trip down memory lane and it was a fitting tribute to Lou, who was always at the heart of the fun. Rest in Peace, my good friend. Mike Ford,

A very special person who I took care of was called to heaven. Lou every time I spent with you, you taught me something new about life. Always a proper gentleman and funny as hell. You always had a wonderful smile on your face. I am glad you celebrated my birthday with me this year. You will always have a special place in my heart. Thank you for all the laughs and smiles. My Cookie Monster I will miss you so very much. I will always remember you telling me Roses are red, violets are blue, sugar is sweet but not as sweet as you! Rest in Peace my sweet Lou.

We will never forget Lou driving to our place of business just to drop off a present for our newborn granddaughter. At the time, Lou’s driving was restricted due to his condition yet he risked his own life and was determined to give us this gift. Linda called us to inquire if Lou was at our office as she was so concerned and didn’t want him driving. Fortunately he successfully made it to and from. He was a gentle kind soul and will be deeply missed. May his memory be a blessing to all who knew him. Rest in peace. Much love and condolences to Linda and the entire family.
