In Loving Memory of Thomas Joseph King Jr

July 26th, 1964  – February 28th, 2024

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a beloved father, son, brother, and friend, Thomas Joseph King Jr., who departed from this world too young at the age of 59. He brought joy and laughter to everyone around him, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever warm our hearts. Thomas is survived by his daughter, Catherine Rose, his parents, Thomas and Catherine King, his sisters, Patricia (Chris), Allyson (Ken) and Catherine (Pete) and many nephews and nieces, Christopher, Ryan, Andrew, Kyle, Tyler, Kate and Brady.

Thomas had an extraordinary zest for life and an unparalleled sense of humor that lit up even the darkest corners. He had a way of turning ordinary moments into extraordinary memories, leaving a legacy of laughter that will be remembered for generations to come.

One of Thomas greatest passions was his love for fish. Whether he was casting a line on a boat or building a beautiful fish tank, he found solace and joy in the world beneath the waves.

Family was at the core of Thomas’s existence. His love for his daughter was boundless, and he took pride in being a loving father, offering lots of laughter and guidance. His devotion to family extended to his parents and three sisters, creating a tight-knit bond that brought warmth and love that will last a lifetime.

In addition to his many talents, Thomas has a heart as vast as the ocean, and his humor and charm touched the lives of those fortunate enough to know him. His presence was always known, and he had a unique ability to find humor even in life's most challenging moments.

Though we mourn the loss of Thomas, let us remember him not with sorrow but with gratitude for the joy he brought into our lives, and knowing he has peace. In the echoes of laughter and the ripple of a fishing line, his spirit will forever live on.

A celebration of Thomas's life will be held on March 1st at M.A. Connell Funeral Home from 4-8 pm.  Friends and family are invited to join in honoring the memory of a man who lived his life with humor, love, and an unwavering passion for the things that brought him joy.

A mass will be held on March 2nd

May he rest in eternal peace, surrounded by the laughter of angels and the gentle waves of the great beyond.
