Obituary of Debra Drewes

Debra Marie (Vilardi) Drewes, 57 years young, passed away on February 19, 2024. Heartbroken and profoundly saddened to lose her, we take comfort through our faith that she is free from pain and shining down upon us. 

Proud to be a wife, she leaves behind the love of her life and husband of 26 years, Erik Drewes. “Erik and Debbie” is a name we all say and recognize because it was seldom one without the other.

Born to be a mother, Debbie leaves behind her three beautiful children, Rebecca, Christopher and Ryan. They were her radiant lights in this world and her love for them was immeasurable.  May her nurturing energy last throughout their lifetime. 

As a loving daughter from a close-knit family, Debbie will be greatly missed by her parents Frank and Diane Vilardi. 

Debbie was surrounded by love and as a sister, aunt, daughter-in-law, cousin and friend she will be missed by many.

Debbie’s favorite saying was “carpe diem” and although the time was too short, the moment was indeed seized. She lived and loved without fear or hesitation. Her love of life, family, her dogs, cooking, baseball, holidays, and concerts are what made Debbie’s world go ‘round. It will be impossible to hear a country song, eat a Bacon, Egg, and Cheese or celebrate Easter without Debbie in the front of our thoughts. We know she is smiling down on us from heaven, reunited with her past loved ones, and always with us as our guardian angel. With all our love she will be greatly missed.
