Wesley Paul Scudder, 61, passed away Tuesday, February 6, 2024 after prolonged health issues. Wes was born in Huntington, NY, on October 18, 1962. He was a direct descendant of the Scudder family that first arrived in Huntington in the year 1658. He was the son of the late Wesley Scudder and the late Ida Mary Bowden Scudder. He was a former member of Local 3 and of the IBEW. Throughout his life he lived in Huntington, Wantagh, Kings Park, and Melville, New York. Wes enjoyed fast cars, motorcycles, and lived life to the fullest.
Survivors include his Sons, Dakota Scudder and his wife Laras, of Florida, Tyler Scudder of Florida, and his daughter Samantha Scudder of Oregon, their mother Sharon Scudder, of Florida, as well as a stepdaughter, Rachel Ford and her children of Florida. Wes leaves his sister, Lesley S. Granito of South Carolina, and his brother Warren and his wife Diane of New York, two nieces, a grand-nephew, and many cousins.
