Obituary of Frank W. Restmeyer Jr

Please share a memory of Frank to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Restmeyer, Frank, 55; passed away on December 5th, 2023. Beloved husband and father, survived by his wife Deanna celebrating their love for 33 years, along with his three children; Alexis, Jared and Michael and his three loyal canine companions Sky, Loki and Petey. Brother to his siblings, Jeanne, James, and Peggy, predeceased Charles, and Michael. Frank was fortunate enough to have been surrounded by so many lifelong friends. How do you encompass in one paragraph a life that touched so many in his young 55 years? Frank was the ultimate family man, the best mechanic, and the hardest working man – known by all for always making his yard look done to perfection. He would drop anything and everything for his family, friends, strangers and most definitely his dogs. His wife and kids will miss having his presence around
and all the things they would do together, like watching On Patrol every weekend, shop rite runs, long walks around the neighborhood with his canine companions, and going to his favorite place – the dog park. He enjoyed being at the place which gave him the most satisfaction, Trio
Auto Repair, as working on cars was a passion for him since he was a young boy. Everyone at Trio Auto Repair knew him and they appreciated all the hard work he would put in to please his customers. He would always say “I want this car to drive as if one of my family members were
driving it” of course that meant to perfection. We could go on and on about who Frank was as a person, husband, father, brother, uncle, son-in-law, brother-in-law, friend, mechanic, dog lover, the list goes on, but there aren't enough words. The fact of the matter is, he always showed up.
He always showed up for the people he loved and cared about – and that was truly shown in his character and who he was as a person. The neighborhood will not be the same without his helping hand and friendly smile. He will be remembered for all the heart he shared with his
friends and family. He truly loved each of them, and if you knew him you knew it. May he forever rest in peace. In lieu of flowers the family is asking for donations to your local animal shelter in his honor.
