Zito, Josephine, 89, passed away on December 2, 2023, surrounded by her family. Beloved mother of Frank, Marie (Rob) Herzog, Thomas (Christine), Vincent (Gidget) and Joseph (Jackie). Loving grandmother of Frank “JR” (Michelle), Michael, Krysten (Scott) Schneider, James McCann, Melissa McCann, Nicole (Tom) Lennon, Samantha, Joey, Jake, Victoria, Alexandra, Jonathan and predeceased by her adoring granddaughter Jennifer McCann. Devoted great grandmother of Julianna, Jayden, Dominic, Anthony, Matthew, Alijah, Ella, Kailyn, Adrienne and Jace. Dear sister of Dianne Levanti and the late Paula Hyde. She is loved and will be missed by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends. Visitation Friday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Saturday 9:15 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park.
