Obituary of Carolyn Gabriella Osso

DeRosa-Osso, Carloyn Gabriella, 93, passed away peacefully at her long time residence home on June 29,2023. She is the daughter of Mr. Alex DeRosa and Mrs. Mary DeRosa. Carolyn is one of 5 siblings which include, Louise Schufelt, Emma DeDora, Fabrizio DeRosa, and Regina Ravn.

Carolyn was wife of the late Rocco Osso, brought into this world 4 beautiful children, the late Joseph Osso (wife Karen), Roxanne Osso-Guzze (Husband John), Gary Osso (Wife Dorene), and Rocco Osso Jr. Among her long lived life Carolyn has 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. Along with many nieces and nephews.

Her comittmemnt to family and the support of her “Extended family” gave her the strength of raising 4 children as a single mom was heroic.

Carolyn worked all her life beginning in a fish market, beverage store, and 40 plus years at DeRosa Liquor store.

A member of St. Hugh’s parish, Carolyn loved gardening and the outdoors of tennis, golf and camping with her children. She loved cooking and feeding the “gang” on Sundays.
