Obituary of Diana M. Cinquemani-Fritze

Please share a memory of Diana to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

Diana Marie Fritze-Cinquemani was born on June 26, 1982 to Danny and Cindy Cinquemani.  "Born to be a teacher," Dee, as she was known to her friends and family, pursued her Bachelors and Masters degrees in Education following her graduation from Walt Whitman high school.  Returning to her South Huntington roots, Dee taught at Countrywood Primary Center for nine years, a fixture in her community where she had both been a student and a teacher, living her passion which was so palpable to her students, fellow teachers and staff.  Following her years at Countrywood, Dee embarked on a second career starting her own successful business in Cold Spring Harbor where she lived and worked for the last eleven years.  Dee was a vibrant part of the Cold Spring Harbor Community where she shared her life with her adoring husband, Michael, whom she married on her favorite holiday, July 4, 2019.  Taken too soon from her very large group of friends and family who were blessed to have had her joyous energy in their lives, Dee lost her hard-fought battle to rare ovarian cancer in the early morning hours of June 20, 2023.  Dee is survived by her loving husband Michael, her father and stepmother Dan and Diane Cinquemani, her sister Kristin and fiance Brandon Ciccone, her two godchildren Benjamin and Julianne, and countless friends and family whose lives are forever better for having had Dee in it.  Dee will be most remembered for her positive energy, infectious laugh, infinite generosity and her love of the beach and a perfect sunset. In lieu of flowers the family asks for donation to be made in her memory to the Ovarian Cancer Research Alliance https://tribute.ocrahope.org/dianacinquemanifritze (https://tribute.ocrahope.org/dianacinquemanifritze)
