Hyland, Joseph, 60 years old, of Huntington Station, passed away on May 11, 2023. Joseph was a graduate of St. Pius X Elementary School, Holy Family High School and St. John’s University as well as a Supervisor for The Nassau County Department of Social Services for 31 years. Beloved husband of Carlene. Loving father of Joseph (Nicole) and step-father of Vanessa Hood and Nicole (Dave) Knall. Cherished son of Joan and the late John. Dear brother of Kevin and John (Mary). Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:30 AM at St. Pius X RC Church, Plainview with the interment to follow at St. Margaret’s Cemetery, Plainview.
