On December 3rd 2022, Nancy Montefusco peacefully passed away at home surrounded by her family at the age of 92.

She began work as an executive secretary in Manhattan after graduating high school. While raising her family she became the bookkeeper for her family’s automotive repair shop on Long Island.

Nancy met her beloved husband, Joseph, and celebrated their 68th wedding anniversary this year.

Nancy was a devoted mother to 4 children. She took pride in raising her family and was always loving and supportive to her family and friends.

Nancy adored her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Her eyes would light up when ever she was with them.

Nancy was an active member in her community though out her lifetime. She volunteered as a Cub Scout mom, with the local hospital, and taught 2nd grade religion. She was raised Catholic and firm in her lifetime of faith.

She enjoyed cooking, baking and sports. Nancy was always willing to learn new things; she played golf in her 60’s-80’s and became a painter in her 90’s.
