My heartfelt condolences to the Sokel family. May God bless you all and bring the light of his peace and comfort upon you all in these difficult times.
It's still a bit difficult to put all of the emotions into words. I wish I would have been able to have one more conversation with Ron, but happy that I had the chance to know him. I worked with Ron virtually at Info Cubic for about 11 years and we became friends very quickly.
Ron was an amazing co-worker and friend.
He was the most loyal and dedicated and I have many great memories of Ron that I will hold forever.
I remember one year when storms were severe, he and his nephew traveled to get to wi fi to be able to send in work updates in the middle of the storms lol. He was just so dedicated and so loyal. That was just one of many examples of how dedicated he was to his work. Not only was he dedicate to getting the work done, but dedicated to getting it done right the first time.
I cannot say enough about his work ethic and skills but he was a great person and friend as well and just as dedicated and loyal of a friend as he was an employee.
Ron had a great balance to his personality. I know he will be missed by anyone that had the chance to get to know him.
Luv ya RS

My sincerest condolences to the family of Ron Sokel. I knew Ron for a very short period of time while working at Info Cubic. He was my New York Yankees buddy! We would take care of business first and talk Yankees baseball next. We loved to talk about the different seasons and players that stood out. We would joke about how Derek Jeter bought an entire team so that he could trade Giancarlo Stanton to the Yankees. I know that Aaron Judge getting his 62 home runs this season meant a lot to Ron. He was a true fan through and through. When it comes to work, everything he did was with the utmost perfection and meticulous nature. I could trust that if Ron said No then the answer was NO. He was truly an expert at his craft. Ron was my friend and I will miss him. Some people come into your life for a season, some people come into your life for a lifetime. I firmly believe Ron came into my life for a reason. He showed me how to take pride in my work and how to do everything to the best of my ability every single day! Until we meet again friend! Until we meet again!

My deepest condolences to Ron’s family, may his soul rest in peace.
Ron and I first worked together in 2006-2007, he trained me to work for Sterling, it was a background checks company that needed people with knowledge of Russian/ Ukrainian. I never saw him in person, I only know that he was the most kind person and the best boss ever, he was so patient and understanding.
After Ron started to work for Info Cubic, he needed to find some solution for Slavic languages, and he asked me to do verifications only with Russian/Ukrainian and French. And so we did, for all these years, and I was in close contact with him every day. I will miss our conversations, his sense of compassion and his humor. He was so understanding and always telling me that he appreciated the help that I was providing with work that otherwise would be more difficult to do, because not many people in ex-soviet republics speak English. During those years we shared many personal things, he knew that my older daughter was forced to leave Ukraine back in 2014, and was always worried about the situation with the war.
He loved my photography and my paintings, that I was sharing with him. I sent him a card I painted with the cats, he told me they had a black and ginger one with stripes, and he loved this card.
He was such a good perdón, I will miss him and remember him forever.

My sincerest condolences for Ron's family at this time. You have my deepest sympathy and unwavering support. Wishing you peace, comfort, courage, and lots of love at this time of sorrow. My heart goes out to you at this difficult time.
I am sorry that I cannot come to the memorial to meet Ron's family in person. I am Ron's direct supervisor and have worked with him since 2019 when I joined the company that he worked at for many years already. I was amazed at the amount of International Work that Ron was able to work on and get completed for us. Since his passing it has taken 5 people to do the same work that Ron was doing by himself. It shows just how caring, dedicated and hard working he was. Ron is greatly missed not only for his work but also as a person and friend. We never met in person as our team is all remote and across the United States. Many calls to each other was about work but we also took the time to reveal a little bit about our non work selves, slowly getting to know each other over the last 3 years and finding out that we had a lot in common.
When Ron was in hospital last year the company sent him flowers (they were Sunflowers) he told me how he loves sunflowers. Another thing we found in common. He also loved the pictures of my Spring flower garden that I posted several years in a row. I don't have a picture of Ron to share but instead one of his favorites "Sunflowers".
Shortly before he went into the hospital we were chatting on the phone about process and procedure changes and I told him I had to go so I could out food in my gullet. He started laughing and said he had not heard that saying in a long time and it reminded him of an Uncle who used to say this. Glad that we were able to share this laugh together!
