Obituary of Pearlie Mae Butts

On the morning of August 22, 2022, Pearlie Mae Butts, 78, of Huntington Station, daughter of Annie Lou Hudson and Jimmy Lee Hill, loving wife of Emory Butts, Sr, passed away at the Cold Spring Hills Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation after a long battle with illness. She is survived by her husband, Emory Butts, Sr, three daughters, Gwendolyn Butts, Gloria Yvonne Caudle, and Rashida A. Jefferson (Arthur) and one son, Emory Butts Jr. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Lameisha R. Poole, Imani M. Butts, and Noah A. Butts, and one great-grand child, Jayla R. Cooke.  She leaves to cherish her memory, sisters Betty Jean Hill (Willard), Fannie Dorsey, and Shirley Hudson, along with a host of other beloved family members. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. 

Services will be held on Tuesday, August 30, 2022 at the M.A. Connell Funeral Home Inc., Huntington Station, NY. Viewing will take place from 2PM-6PM with service commencing promptly at 4PM.
