In Loving Memory of Marie Ann Shea

Marie Ann Shea, 63 years of age, passed peacefully on Tuesday July 19, 2022, at Glen Falls Hospital.   Marie was born in Queens, NY  to Joseph and JoAnn Francica.  She was the eldest of four children with siblings Joseph(Carin), JoAnn, and Patricia(Children Joey, Rhianna, Diana). Marie was educated at Saint Hugh of Lincoln Primary School, graduating from Walt Whitman High School in 1977.  Marie received her Registered Nursing degree from Suffolk County Community College and received her Master’s in Hospital Administration from the New School of Social Research.

Marie married Robert Shea on July 28^th, 1990, now celebrating 32 years of marriage.  She was a dedicated nurse and nurse administrator for many years at Saint Catherine of Sienna Hospital.  Marie’s greatest pride and joy was in her role as Mom to her beautiful children Ryan and Jillian.  Marie’s beautiful, loving, and kind-hearted soul will be dearly missed by all her extended family and friends.  She will be forever in our hearts.
