Obituary of Carmella Deci

Deci, Carmella, 95, of Syosset, passed away peacefully, on June 9, 2022. Beloved wife of the late John. Loving sister of Joseph Orelli (Roberta), Mary D ’Angelis (John), Rose Moon (Samuel), Frank Orelli and Sam Orella all of whom predeceased her. She is survived by her dear sister-in-laws, Noreen Orelli and Pat Orella and devoted companion Frank Zangari. She was loved and adored by her many nieces, nephews, family and friends, who will miss her very much. Carmella grew up in Huntington NY, and graduated from Huntington High School.  She worked at Metropolitan Life from which she retired, and was very active in her Senior Citizens group.   Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:45 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Huntington. . In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org in Carmella’s name would be greatly appreciated by the family.
