Held, Mary, 99, of Elmont, passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 14, 2022. Beloved wife of the late Henry. Loving mother of Susanna Preuss-Silva (Anthony Silva), Helen (Joel), Joseph (Christina) Mary Jo, Clare Buff (John), Kathleen Pagliari and predeceased by Henry, Stephen, Albert (Albert), James and Patricia Pietrowski (Ronald). Cherished grandmother of 16 and great-grandmother of 12. Memorial Visitation Thursday 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Memorial Mass will be held on Friday 10:30 AM at Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Church, Centerport. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org or Breast Cancer Research Foundation www.bcrf.org in Mary’s name would be greatly appreciated by the family.
