Obituary of Christine Castoro

Christine Castoro, 42, passed away on Saturday, April 2 after a year long battle with Leukemia. Christine was born and raised in Huntington by her loving parents Robert and Diana Johnson. She grew up with her two sisters and best friends Maryann (Hamid) and Jeanette (Christopher). She married her husband, Joseph in December of 2002 and had three sons, Luke, Dylan, and Dean. Her children were truly the light of her life. Christine was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, aunt, Godmother, and dear friend to many. Aside from raising her own children, Christine played a role in helping to raise the children of so many others. She was also a gifted photographer that captured so many special moments for many families. Through her talents you could see the world as she did. Throughout her treatment, Christine received the gift of blood and platelet donations. To honor her, please consider donating blood and/or platelets in her name.
