Donop, Donald G., 90, of Greenlawn, on January 28, 2022. A proud Navy Veteran and Retired Captain of the FDNY. Don was also a mail carrier for the Huntington Station Post Office for 10 years. Beloved husband of the late Joan (nee Anderson). Loving father of Scott (Kelly) and Kim Donop. Cherished Pop-Pop of Jack. Dear brother of the late Walter Donop Jr., Norma Schwartau and Douglas Von Donop. He is loved and will be missed by his nieces, nephews, grand nephews, family and friends. Visitation at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave, Huntington Station on Friday, 2-5 and 7-9 PM. A service will be held at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church in Huntington Station on Saturday at 10 AM. Interment to follow at Huntington Rural Cemetery.
