Obituary of Lois M Colleluori

Lois Colleluori (September 15 1932- January 19, 2022) passed away in Huntington Hospital. Lois was born to Angelo and Mary Recco in Ridgewood NY. After marrying Salvatore R. Colleluori on September 1, 1957, she lived in Maspeth NY until 1966 when she moved with her family to Syosset NY. Lois worked in the Syosset Central School District for 31 years at Baylis Elementary School. In 1981, she moved with her family to Cold Spring Harbor, N.Y. After retiring from Syosset Schools, Lois took a job as a front Desk clerk at Harborfields Library, and then later at the Cold Spring Harbor Library. She was predeseased by her husband in 2000, and is survived by her son Anthony (MaryRose 1960-2021) and daughter Mary Iadanza (Paul Iadanza) her grandsons Salvatore (Rachel Wallace) and Frank Colleluori and Joshua (Herly), Jesse (Sarah), and Jake Iadanza as well as 2 great grand children, Adriana and Penelope Iadanza. Lois will lie in repose at M.A. Connell funeral home 934 New York Ave, Huntington Station, NY. Visiting will be from 2:30pm-7:30pm Sunday January 23, 2022 to be followed by a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday January 24, 2022 at 9:45 AM at Saint Patrick’s RC Church, 400 Main Street, Huntington NY.
