My belated, sincerest and heartfelt condolences to the Magnani Family on the passing of a good friend and and terrific human being. I first met George when we worked together in the Bronx, IBM Office. Aside from being an excellent technician, George had an infectious sense of humor and never had a bad day. George was always enthusiastic and upbeat about life. In particular George played Walter Cronkite reporting the news during a Branch Office Meeting. He played the part superbly and profession in suit and tie. That was until he stood up from his desk wearing boxer shorts. That was George. Over the years we would cross paths and his sense if humor, positive outlook were always there. He will be missed.

I met George when we were both freshman at Mater Christi. He was always great to be around and we spent many hours together at school on the track team and after school. Along with our close friend Lou Sudano we had some great times together. Even though I haven't seen George in a number of years he will always be in my thoughts. Thought I'd share this photo of the three amigos from MC days.

I was friends with Joe Amendola MC74 who was in the shotput team with you and George. Even though we were a year younger, you guys were very cool with us underclassmen, I always appreciated that. Sorry to see George go, may he RIP. (Consider sharing above picture in the MC Facebook Alumni page, many will enjoy) Tony Telleria MC74

George was always happy and had an infectious smile. I worked with him at IBM and he was the best social organizer and I enjoyed many years of lunches and dinners. You will be missed.

George had the biggest heart and the most loving smile. He had such a winning, teasing, infectious love of life that drew everyone he met right in. He had the perfect match in Linda. Roland and I always felt like we were with good family whenever we had the opportunity to be with them.

Gone way to soon.
George and I have known each other since he was in Second Grade.
We have had many, many Adventures together. He was a Man with many Hats. George could make anyone LAUGH. He was a Sincere, Fun Loving, Caring Guy. I will truly Miss Out times together, Home Cooked meals, BBQs, Our Trips together and the Endless LAUGHS. As a Child, he was known to Our Family as CHICKEN GEORGE, he was Terrified of my Mom, as soon as he saw her, he would Run like the wind. I have Memories, Great Memories of a FRIEND and Family Member that I will Deeply MISS. George here is to the FUN TIMES. I Love You with All of My Heart. Until we meet again. Keep Laughing and Give them a Run for their Money in Heaven... A True ANGEL watching over Us........

George was my friend and when you can honestly say that, nothing else needs to be said. We spent many years together working at IBM, always laughing. He was one of the original founders of ACD and always helped to transform this yearly event into a gathering of Brothers. He was perhaps the smartest, funniest and kindest man I ever met. We will always remember his passing and celebrate his life. RIP my ACD brother, you will always be loved and missed.
