Obituary of Marie Osso

Marie Osso, age 83, passed away January 5, 2022. Survived by her husband Patrick Osso; her children Michael, Donna (Glenn Hermann) and Patricia (John Fealy); her brother John Zino (Mary Lou Zino); as well as her grandchildren Lauren Fealy (Frank Albergo) and John Fealy (Courtney Forti-Fealy) and her beautiful great-granddaughter Lumi June Fealy. Marie was born in Queens, and raised in Huntington, NY where she attended Huntington High School and met and married the love of her life, Patrick Osso. They were married for 64 years. An intelligent and hard working woman, Marie worked as a receptionist for Touro College in Bayshore for 10 years. She also purchased Elwood Deli in 1975 which she owned and ran for many years with the help of her husband and children. Marie was intensely loved by her family and friends. She was a fantastic cook whose classic spaghetti dinner was unrivaled. As an avid gardener, her home was always filled with life inside and out. She loved animals of all kinds. Her sense of humor and spirited personality endeared her to all who met her and will be missed immensely.
