Ellen M. Holden died peacefully at home on Monday September 13,2021 at age 86 surrounded
by her family after a courageous 15 month battle with stomach cancer. Daughter of Rose and
Malcolm Dickerson. Beloved wife of 55 years to William Holden (deceased). Loved beyond
compare by her 5 children William (deceased Karen), Jane, Clare (Peter), Lucy (Michael) and
Julia (Anthony). Sister of Frank (deceased), John (deceased), and Malcolm (Linda). Adoring
grandmother to Kenneth (Cynthia), Robert, Samantha, Griffin, Christian, James, Brian, Grace,
Anthony, Angelina and Joseph.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Huntington NY Fire Department
or the Huntington Community First Aid Squad.
