I met Marie when we were introduced by mutual friends. Our friendship was almost instantaneous and lasted throughout the next 43 years. Marie was a one in a million kind of friend. Even when she was so ill, we would talk on the phone and chat on line. We had that common thread that develops between friends over time, so we always had something to laugh about. My heart is broken but happy to know that Marie is finally comfortable and smiling down upon all who loved her. May she rest in eternal peace. My sincere condolences to her family.
