Theresa Elizabeth Farrell, Betty, was born in Huntington on March 8, 1929 to Theresa A Missbach (Gorman) and Alfred P. Missbach. Betty attended St. Patrick's School then St. Dominic's High School in Oyster Bay. While working her first job at Main St. Stationary, she met Larry Farrell also of Huntington. It was a definite match as they were wed 66 years, until Larry passed in 2016.
Betty & Larry owned Savoy Home Equipment on Main St. over 25 years. During their retirement they traveled the world, but Betty was happiest at home in Huntington.
Betty is predeceased by brother Alfred Missbach, sister Ann Andrysik, and half brother Frank Gorman. Betty leaves behind two daughters, both living in California, where Betty lived her last 4 years. Daughter Patricia Farrell of Grass Valley and Maureen (Chuck) Burke of Colfax. Betty has three grandchildren, Megan, Emma and Larry.
