Essex, Thomas W., 58, of Holtsville, formerly of North Babylon, passed away after a brief illness on May 21, 2021. Beloved husband of Regina (nee Piscitelli). Loving father of Caroline and Thomas. Devoted son of Charles Essex and the late Mary Schiedenhelm. Caring nephew of Irene Hunter. Dear brother of Kathleen (Vincent) Zito and Michael Essex. Adored cousin of Elizabeth (David) Starr. Fond son-in-law of Irene Piscitelli and brother-in-law of Neil Piscitelli. He is loved and will be missed by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, family and friends. Visitation Thursday 4-8 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Friday 9:30 AM at St. Sylvester’s Roman Catholic Church, Medford. Interment to follow at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Coram.
