Dr. Carroll Adrien Congo was born on November 24, 1927 in the City of New York. He departed this life on Sunday, November 15, 2020, Huntington Hospital, Northwell Health, Hunt., NY. He is survived by his wife, Gladys G. Merritt-Congo; sons, Keith and Dale (Nancy); stepson, David Grant (Marilynn); stepdaughter, Jennifer Scott (Werner); granddaughters, Anna Congo, Kaitlin C. Mason (Trevor); grandsons, Adrien Congo, Aaron Congo; step-granddaughter, Karissa Grant, step-grandsons, Jason Rodriguez, Jared Grant; great grandchildren, Bryson Kendall Mason and Ava Joy Mason, and a host of cousins, family members, and friends. His family and friends were blessed to have him in their lives for so many years. Though he will be missed, we know that he now resides in a better place, where peace, harmony, and God’s love abide forever more.
