Obituary of Patricia Tully

Tully, Patricia, 64, of Huntington Station, passed away peacefully on October 18, 2020. Beloved mother of Philip (Annie Varnum) and Grace (Justin Sienkwicz). Loving grandmother of Leon. Cherished younger sister of Jody Kantianis and Christine Mayo. Treasured friend to many. Pat will be missed by all. Born and raised in Bellmore, she went on to attend Fashion Institute of Technology where her creative side blossomed. She subsequently used her talents to start her own small holiday decorating company. As a skilled chef, she cooked most recently at Cold Spring Plaza Delicatessen, where she loved spending time among family and friends. Pat had a way of making everyone feel at home and spreading joy everywhere she went. She cultivated a home with love and laughter where everyone felt welcome, and was most relaxed listening to the chirpy birds, spoiling old boy Raisin (her dog), and enjoying the natural tranquility while in her backyard garden. From early cross country roadtrips to cross-town and across-the-pond visits to her children, her inner wild-child and free-spiritedness followed her everywhere she went. Pat was excited to see Phil and Grace live their lives to the fullest; she would want everyone she loved in life to do the same as well. Memorial visitation will be held on Saturday from 11-2 at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations in Patricia’s name be made to: Huntington-Oyster Bay Audubon Society or North Shore Animal League.
