Obituary of Michael Healy

Michael J. Healy Obituary Michael “Mike” Healy, a longtime resident of Huntington, New York, passed away on July 25, 2020 at the age of 60. He was surrounded by his wife and kids. Mike was born in Queens, New York on December 28, 1959. Mike was a dear son to Marilyn Healy, and was predeceased by his father, Richard Healy. He is survived by his twin brother James and brother Thomas; he was predeceased by his beloved brother Ricky. Mike studied at Davidson College and then went on to receive his law degree from Wake Forest Law School in 1985. He practiced law for 35 years as a bankruptcy and litigation attorney. Mike most recently worked for Farrell Fritz, LLC; a place he called home for over 32 years. Mike married his beloved wife, Sue Healy, in 1992 in her hometown, New Rochelle, New York. Together they raised their three children, Katie, Megan and John. Mike was a loving father who shared his devotion to family by carrying on a cherished childhood tradition - a trip to the family cottage in Scituate, MA. Although he was taken too early, he made an everlasting impression on all those he loved. He will be forever missed by all. Visiting hours will be held Sunday at M.A Connell Funeral home from 3pm-5pm, 934 New York Ave, Huntington. A funeral mass is scheduled Monday at 9:45 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 400 Main Street, Huntington. In lieu of flowers, we are suggesting donations be made to Huntington Hospital.
