Janet L. Lotti (nee Casazza), went home to eternal rest on Monday, May 4th, 2020, only days before her 91st birthday. Janet was born to Joseph and Florence Casazza on May 17, 1929 on Staten Island, NY. She was raised in Greenwich Village, NY and attended Cathedral High School. She married the love of her life, John (Jack) Lotti on June 4th, 1950, and would have celebrated their 70th anniversary this year. Jack and Janet moved to Long Island where they had their three daughters, Jacqueline, Loraine and Arlene, eventually settling in the West Hills section of Huntington where they enjoyed nearly 52 years enjoying their family and their friends. Janet was not only a loving mother and grandmother, but during her life she was an accomplished music educator and choir director, a bridal consultant and the head bookkeeper for Harrow’s Pool Supplies.
Janet’s infectious smile and beautiful singing voice will be long remembered by all, but especially those she leaves behind, her loving husband of 69 years, John, her daughters, Jacqueline, Loraine, and Arlene (Tom), her loving grandchildren, Douglas, Katherine, Kimberly and Michael, sister-in-law, Barbara, and many beloved nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Florence, and her brother , Raymond.
