Saddened to read of the loss of Richie. Have known him since we were kids and he lived on Woodbury Ave. thru our time at college when he met Charlotte. I always appreciated his genial good humor and the confident way he approached life. Warm feelings and condolences to Charlotte and the family.

So sorry to hear this news. Mr. Coronato was my typing teacher at Elwood Junior High School. He was a wonderful teacher who taught me a skill that served me very well as a Stony Brook undergraduate and graduate student. I breezed through very long term papers and continue to benefit from his class as Huntington UFSD's public information coordinator, writing daily articles for the district website.
Mr. Coronato had a great sense of humor that he shared with the class. I remember the typing room and how he ran the class very well. He was a really great guy.
Mr. Coronato was also my brother's wrestling coach at John H. Glenn High School during the years shortly after it opened. (My brother was in the JG Class of 1967.)

Aunt Charlotte, Richard and Samantha ~ I am so sorry for your loss. I wish we could be there with you today. Please know that you are in our thoughts and prayers. We love you.
Uncle Richard was such a kind and generous soul. His smile and laughter were contagious! I have so many fond memories from my childhood. My favorite - watching Uncle Richard and Aunt Charlotte dance. I can still close my eyes and picture the two of you on the dance floor. So beautiful!
Growing up, the way Uncle Richard cared for Grandpa and Grandma - Aunt Fran and Aunt Florence had a tremendous impact on me. He loved so well! And over these last ten years Uncle Richard has faithfully given love, support and encouragement to my Dad and in turn my whole family. His love has impacted all of us. Even in the midst of his own physical struggles, Uncle Richard never stopped loving, encouraging, and blessing us. We will miss him dearly.

Dear Aunt Charlotte Richard, Samantha, Matt, Carly, and Jake. Please accept my condolences at the loss of your beloved husband, father, and grandfather. My family is praying for you during this difficult time. May we be able to comfort you as Uncle Richard comforted us. When his mom, my grandmother passed, he was a consolation to whole family. When I lost my mom, I talked to Uncle Richard on the phone and he encouraged me and spoke comforting words that I will never forget. His sympathy and solace were like a healing balm. His smile was so radiant and his laughter so hearty. I will miss Uncle Richard and his kindness and support. Love and prayers. Cindy

I started doing business with Dick in 1984 when I was with Monitor Aerospace.
He was a straight forward guy, honest and a pleasure to work with.
May he rest in eternal peace.
Sincerely

Aunt Charlotte, Richard and Samantha, my Dad Rocky, Uncle Bob, and the Schmauchs, we are so sorry for your loss. Uncle Richie will forever be remembered for his positive spirit and generosity, always quick with a smile and a compliment. I have wonderful memories of holidays together when I was growing up, and in more recent years meeting at the diner for a meal whenever I was in town. We wish we could be there with you today in person, we are with you in spirit.
With love,

I can't think of a more generous and caring person than my uncle Dick. While I was growing up he was always at the center of our family in Huntington. When I was just married and starting a career he helped me learn management skills in his business. As our grandparents aged he was always there to make sure they were cared for. And when his brothers and their families experienced health and other challenges, he always ignored his own and made sure they were ok. Thanks Uncle Dick - for the memories, the love, and of course the occasional Islanders tickets! We will miss you here in this world but know your spirit will always be with us. God Bless you. Our sincerest condolences to Aunt Charlotte, Richard, Samantha and family on your great loss.
