To our great big beautiful Bennardo’s. Guy and I grieve the loss of Big Mike’s passing. We just want to know that the Vogt family are grieving with you. You’ll never know how much we appreciated just be accepted into the fold of your loving family. From the first time we met, I’m sure we knew and felt that Marie was lucky to have found the love of her life. Little did we know that our extension of Marie’s siblings would be just as accepted. Thank you for that. One of our favorite memories is sitting and sharing stories, watching a Christmas Story for the first time at Mike,Marie, Michael’s and Tommy’s House. The laughter was so contagious. The great meals and being invited to the beach house. So glad we were able to see you all at the twins birthday party. We love you all and to Sandra, we’re here with an open ear and open heart. Love, Guy and Laura and Chris and Jenny.

My prayers and thoughts are with the entire Bennardo Family at this most difficult time, I was a student of Mike's or MR B (as he allowed us to call him) at Marie Curie Middle School in Bayside in 1961 and 62, He made a major impact on my life due to his kindness and heart warming understanding, I always wished i had gotten to see him to let him know.
