Ingram, Raymond Joseph, 85, of Huntington.

Raymond was welcomed home by his Lord on June 25, 2018, surrounded by his family.  Beloved husband of Mary Jane Ingram. Loving father of Rev. Brian Ingram, Maureen (Jay) Day, Andrew (Deana), Christopher (Victoria), Deirdre Ingram and Joan (Michael) Kristan. Cherished grandfather of 12 and friend to many. Raymond served in the U.S. Army during two tours of duty, including during the Korean War.  He spent his career in the New York City Fire Department and retired as Captain.  Raymond was an active supporter of the 9/11 fallen firefighters.  Visitation will be held Saturday 7-9 PM, and Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday 9:30 AM at St. Hugh of Lincoln RC Church, Huntington Station. Interment to follow at Calverton National Cemetery, Calverton. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made in Raymond’s name to the Uniformed Firefighters Association (UFA) of Greater New York Widow’s and Children’s Fund, UFA Scholarship Fund, or the Disabled American Veterans.
