Obituary of Scott Blackshaw

Blackshaw, Scott, 52, of Huntington Station, on May 20, 2018. Retired NYPD officer. Scott’s illness was due to his duties at Ground Zero after 9/11. He relied on “TEAM SCOTTY”, consisting of friends, neighbors and Police colleagues during this difficult time and will always be loved and remembered. Scott is survived by his beloved brother David (Amy) and nephews Michael and Matthew, his constant and devoted Corgi-- Bo. Visitation will be at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station on Tuesday from 4-9 PM. Mass will be held at St. Anthony’s Church in Northport on Wednesday at 10:45 AM.
