Obituary of Muriel H. Vachris
Vachris, Muriel H., at the age of 100, passed away peacefully at home on April 13, 2018. Beloved wife of the late Alfred. Loving mother of Alfred (Maureen), Georgieann Chapman and predeceased by her two daughters Dorothy Lafreniere and Muriel Stanton-Dixon. Cherished grandmother of 14 and great-grandmother of 14.Visitation Monday 2-4 & 7-9 PM at M.A. Connell Funeral Home, 934 New York Ave., Huntington Station. Funeral Mass Tuesday 10:45 AM at St. Patrick’s Church, Huntington. Interment to follow at St. Patrick’s Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to: Missionary Sisters of St. Benedict, 350 Cuba Hill Road, Huntington NY 11743 in Muriel’s name would be greatly appreciated.
